Hello, my name is Ian Mhaiki and I am a graphic designer and illustrator, as well as a proud Millersville graduate. I've been immersed into the art world, when I started drawing at three years old. Apart from sketching, my favorite types of digital illustrations to work with are animated GIFs, posters, and eBooks. Even during the frustrating wake of COVID, the world of art has always kept me going.
I strive to achieve success through strong communication skills, collaborative teamwork, self-motivation, attention to detail, and organization. My key skills in the design process are Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop, specifically when it comes to illustrating and color correction, as well as creating PDFs and video/GIF animations.
As a person, I strive to be positive, kind, and complementary towards those around me. Some might say I tend to be too nice or forgiving, though I prefer to stay true to myself regardless. I'm the type of person that would cheer people up and give advice. Most of all, I am a proud nerd, collector, and kid-at-heart.
When I'm not doing any professional work, I love watching movies and TV shows. My favorite types of movies to watch are comedies, romance, and animation (especially Disney and other cartoons both western and international). I can also really be handy on the computer, spending most of my time either converting and editing videos, as well as editing and enhancing photos.
